The inter-stand high-pressure water descaling added for Baosteel stainless steel 1780mm HSM finishing line was successfully put into operation on Dec. 25, 2009, for which CISDI supplied equipment integration, plant design and software programming.

The technical revamping covers the installation of high-pressure water descaling device between F1~F2 and F2~F3 to provide better descaling performance, hence higher strip surface quality for the automobile sheets and pickled base- sheet, contributing to high added value and economic benefits.

The design was started in March, 2009, and the installation & commissioning was conducted from Dec. 12 to 25th, 2009 during the annual repair of the hot strip mill, which was a big challenge. CISDI engineers for design and on-site service worked closely with the clients and construction company to keep the schedule, winning acknowledgement from the client and construction company.
