From March 27^th to 31^st, 2017, CISDI presided over 2017 TATA STEEL Technology Leadership Program in Chongqing. Chief research fellow, technical supervisors, department heads from TATA STEEL India and Europe participated in the Program which included lectures given by CISDI engineers or specialists on new technologies and their applications, project management expertise in the steel industry, site visits to the reference plant of CISDI in China.

Every year TATA STEEL carefully selects the outstanding one from the enterprises or research institutes worldwide to preside over the Program and dispatch its technology cadres to participate so as to improve their knowledge and skills. It was the first time for TATA STEEL, the world-known steel producer and the largest one in India to select a service and equipment provider to chair the Program.

Mr. Xiao Xuewen, Chairman of the Board delivered a welcome speech, hoping that through the Program CISDI could be able to provide the guests with thorough information on CISDI’s technological competence and service philosophy, expecting CISDI and TATA STEEL could achieve a better mutual understanding and enjoy deeper cooperation through ample exchanges.   

CISDI India, CISDI UK also held exchanges with the guests of TATA STEEL during the Program.
